After more than a decade of serving Philadelphia’s children and families, Philadelphia Safe and Sound ceased operations as of June 30, 2008.

We’ve worked hard to foster quality afterschool and youth development programs in the city – to provide a safe and supportive environment, where each child can thrive and grow.

In the years we administered these programs, the number of children enrolled in afterschool programs more than doubled.

We’re proud of this record, and believe it has been a privilege to serve our community by improving the lives of our children.
